Role Purpose
Our client is a leading executive cleaning and facilities management company operating across East Africa, delivering professional cleaning, sanitation, and environmental services to corporate, residential, and institutional clients. They are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead revenue growth, market expansion, and client retention through strategic business development, end-to-end sales management, and strong client relationship management.
Core Responsibilities
Strategy & Growth

Develop and execute business development strategies aligned to company goals

Identify new markets, opportunities, and partnerships

Conduct market and competitor analysis
Sales & Revenue Generation

Lead full sales cycle

Drive new client acquisition and grow existing accounts

Develop pricing strategies with Finance and Operations
Tender & Bid Management

Manage end-to-end tendering (PPDA, UNGM, EGP)

Ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely submissions
Client & Stakeholder Management

Build and maintain long-term client relationships

Drive retention through proactive engagement and issue resolution

Align client expectations with operational delivery
Performance & Reporting

Track pipeline, sales performance, and revenue targets

Implement structured reporting (weekly, monthly, strategic reviews)
Team & Process Improvement

Guide account managers on cross-selling and upselling

Improve sales processes, tools, and conversion efficiency

Support brand visibility and corporate engagements
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
• 5–8 years’ experience in business development/sales
• Proven record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets
• Experience in tendering and bid management (PPDA, UNGM, EGP)
• Background in facilities management or service industries (advantage)
• Strong exposure to pricing, negotiations, and key account management
